Our carriers have informed us that delivery delays may occur in areas of the United States affected by Hurricane Milton, which is expected to hit Florida on Wednesday, October 9th. This follows the impacts of Hurricane Helene, which has already affected several Southeastern states.
Hurricane Milton is currently classified as a Category 5 hurricane and is expected to cause catastrophic damage to infrastructure and properties in Florida and surrounding areas.
Due to the anticipated severity of the damage, extended delays are expected for both outbound parcels and returns in the impacted regions.
At this time, carriers cannot provide a precise estimate for the length of potential delays. The duration will depend on the extent of the damage and how quickly infrastructure can be cleared and deemed safe by authorities.
Cleanup from Hurricane Helene is still ongoing, which may continue to delay deliveries in some Southeastern areas, even those that may escape the worst impacts of Hurricane Milton.
Unfortunately, we have no control over how this situation affects our shipments, and our carriers’ capabilities are also limited at this time. There is sadly no way for us to expedite these shipments. Therefore, shipping timeframes may be impacted, and we cannot guarantee them in the event of natural disasters.
For more information on the impact of the Hurricane to delivery services for our standard shipping packages you can refer to the USPS article here, the UPS article here and the Fedex article here. DHL Express packages impacted will have alerts on tracking pages.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause.
